Refund policy

Sans Gêne Studios LLC (“Sans Gêne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted for merchandise purchased through our website, https://sansgene.com (the “Website”).
Return Eligibility
Sans Gêne will accept returns 14 days from the date of delivery. The item must be in its original condition and postmarked within the accepted 14-day window to be processed. If you wish to exchange your merchandise for a different item, simply contact our customer service, and we'll guide you through the easy exchange process.
Sans Gêne does not offer direct exchanges. We ask that you return the merchandise for a full refund within 7 days and place a new order for the preferred item(s) at your earliest convenience.

Free return shipping is available to customers located within the United States only. To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be in its original, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unused condition;
- All original tags must be attached and the item must be returned in its original packaging;
- Items returned with removed, altered, or missing tags or packaging will not be eligible for return.
A small number of heavily discounted items may be marked FINAL SALE, in which case they are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not comply with these conditions. Rejected items will be returned to the original shipping address and will not be refunded.
Category-Specific Return Guidance
- Shoes: Try on shoes on a carpeted surface only. Shoes scuff easily on hard surfaces. Shoe boxes must be returned undamaged and in original condition.
- Swimwear and Lingerie: Must be tried on over underwear. Do not remove protective slips for hygiene reasons.
- Tops and Dresses: Be cautious of deodorant, makeup, or other stains. Items with visible stains or odors will not be eligible for return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you believe an item is damaged or defective, please contact our Customer Care team at support@sansgenestudios.com within 7 days of delivery. We may request photographs or additional information to evaluate the issue.
Sans Gêne warranties all products to be free from defects in workmanship for the first 90 days from the date of purchase. During that period, defective items will be eligible for a refund or replacement. After 90 days, we will attempt to assist with repairs—such as by providing replacement hardware (e.g., buttons or snaps)—if available. Full replacements or refunds beyond this time will only be issued if supported by the designer.
Return Procedure
Returns must be postmarked within the applicable return window (30 days for refunds, 60 days for exchanges). Items received outside of these windows may not be eligible for processing. Contact support@sansgenestudios.com for a return authorization and pre-paid return label (U.S. only).

Holiday Returns
For purchases made between November 1st and December 25th, we will accept returns post-15 days provided they are received by January 10th of the following year.
Exchanges
Sans Gêne does not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item:
- Return the original item as described above;
- Place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected for compliance, a refund will be issued to your original form of payment. A confirmation email will be sent upon approval. Please allow up to 7 business days for us to process your return. Your financial institution may require additional time to reflect the refund.
Please note: Shipping charges, international duties, and taxes are non-refundable. Shipping charges on expedited orders are also not refundable.
Returns Sent in Error
If you mistakenly return an item not purchased from Sans Gêne, please contact our Customer Service team immediately at support@sansgenestudios.com. While we will make every effort to help locate and return such items, Sans Gêne is not responsible for non-Sans Gêne merchandise sent to us in error and will not issue refunds or replacements for such items.
